We also know that Sears badged Murray built bikes all started with the numbers '502' and then the next 4 or 5 digits was the actual part number listed in the Sears catalogs. With Some Time, Effort And Elbow Grease This Would An Awesome Antique Bicycle. One of the two leather straps with are broken on the basket. They do look old enough to be original to the bicycle. I do not have an air compressor so I am not sure if it would hold air. The tires are 26' and are marked Allstate Crusader. If you like more pictures I would be happy to email them. The rest seems to be some light surface rust which a good cleaning would probably take care of some. The worst is the front fender with the light. (maybe could be straighten and reset) T is some rust to the bike and chrome. (Please look at the seat picture it does have wear) One spoke in the back tire is wrapped around another spoke. The seat measures 12' long by 10' wide and is marked ELGIN. First off I would like to say it is a really neat looking bike however I am not a bike dealer so I do not know too much about bicycles.
